What Are Superchargers?

Superchargers are special upgrade items that allow you to push your weapons, traps, heroes, and survivors beyond level 50 — all the way to level 60.

Without Superchargers, every item in STW is capped at level 50 (PL 130). Each Supercharger increases the level of one item by 2, so going from level 50 to level 60 requires 5 Superchargers per item.

There are four types, each specific to a category:

• Weapon Supercharger — for weapons
• Trap Supercharger — for traps
• Hero Supercharger — for heroes
• Survivor Supercharger — for survivors (required for PL 144 account power)

Why Does PL 144 Matter?

Reaching PL 144 on your account — which requires all survivors at level 60 — maximizes your F.O.R.T. stats across the board. Combined with maxed weapons and traps, it’s the strongest possible state for your account. Every endgame build, Endurance run, and high-level mission becomes more reliable and more efficient.

How to Get Superchargers — Method 1: Weekly Missions

The primary way to earn Superchargers in STW is through weekly missions in PL 160 zones.

Requirements to Unlock:

• Complete all 10 Storm Shield Defenses in Twine Peaks (Learn how to unlock Twine Peaks fast here.)
• Have a Power Level of 124+ (required to access PL 160 zones)

Once unlocked, a weekly quest becomes available that asks you to complete 10 missions in PL 160 zones. Completing it rewards Superchargers. This quest resets every week, making it a repeatable source of upgrades.

The catch: PL 160 missions are the hardest content in the game. You need a strong build, good gear, and ideally a coordinated group to run them efficiently.

How to Get Superchargers — Method 2: Ventures Progression

Ventures is the second major source of Superchargers, and it’s available to all players regardless of their campaign progression. Each Ventures season, you progress through levels by earning Venture XP — and at specific level milestones, you receive Superchargers as rewards:

2. Run the PL 160 weekly mission every week for additional Superchargers
